Working ability test for Lipizzaner and Haflinger 25.09.2022

As last year, the working test was held together with the Slovenian Association of Haflinger Breeders at the Centre of Equestrian Sport in Celje.

Our Lipizzaners were presented under saddle and two in carriage. In total 7 Lipizzaners were presented that day: A stallion, 2 mares and 2 geldings in test under saddle, and 2 more mares in carriage. The members of the jury were Nataša Gorišek, Primož Tanko, Aleksander Ozmec, as well as the foreign test rider Anna Seifter and the test driver Marcus Remer, who is a well-known breeder and carriage driver from Austria.

The stallion 130 Conversano Famosa XVI (3,5 years old), bred by Milojko Strajnar and owned by Janez Peternel, was tested under saddle for stallion approal. Under the rider Gregor Turk, who was also his trainer, he showed excellent fitness and exceptional movements in all gaits. He passed the working test with a final score of 9,25 and thus earned the title of the best working test of Lipizzaners.

The other two mares took the single horse test.
The first mare to perform was 126 Canissa IV, born in 2019, with a final score of 8.40. The second mare was 105 Thais XXII, born in 2018, with a final score of 7.55.
